The Light
Zechariah 14 is the prophecy of the Day of the LORD when Jesus comes back and destroys evil or darkness. It will be a day beginning Jesus’ Millennial reign of Righteousness and LIGHT for those that believe in Him. It will also be a day not bright or dark and it will maintain that level of light after sundown. “WAIT A MINUTE! YOU SAID THE DAY OF THE LORD WOULD BE DARK! THEN YOU SAID IT WOULD BE BRIGHT! NOW YOU ARE SAYING IT WILL BE LOW LIGHT! CONTRADICTION!!!!! Evil will meet absolute judgment = dark. Believers will have everything made right by Jesus’ WORD = Light. The weather will be like has never been seen: there will be no glare or cloud to hinder complete visibility. God will make sure every video camera gets the perfect picture so everyone worldwide sees perfectly and completely. When Jesus’ foot touches the Mount of Olives and speaks His WORD I wonder how CNN will react? Jesus as Creator of everything that is will come cast His vote for King of Kings: it will be unanimous. Zechariah says by the vision God gave him that the all the world’s armies will decompose while still standing. The world looks at these prophecies looking to manufacture contradictions: Faith sees that God is always true to His WORD. Be God’s Child – DON’T BE THE WORLD?
