The Light
The Lord making all things right is Light and while that is comforting to know it isn’t our business.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 ESV
For you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20 ESV
Indignation and wrath are symptoms of us trying to own ourselves again when we belong to God. Since you are God’s property it is sin to think He doesn’t value what is His. It is blasphemy to think He isn’t able to take care of who belongs to Him. Do you doubt His Love for you or His almighty position? Being almighty He has the authority to reserve His judgment for proper times to affect Salvation maximized to its limit.
'He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? ' Micah 6:8 ESV Light is a Double Edged Sword
Written to the Offender
Is that you? My only business is to make sure that isn’t me. If you can read this chapter without malice, if no one else’s name comes to mind? And your own conscience allowed you peace with this reading and points out no offense of yours it isn’t yours. If it convicts you, you need to allow God to sort you out and get it right with Him. Your offense is not my business but it is God’s: whether I want it or not He will handle it. Let God’s Light guide you to His peace?
