The Light
'O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old: ' Psalm 44:1 ESV 13 'For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? 15 And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” ' Romans 10:13-15 ESV Whose Faith Saves?
Pragmatism
There is no such thing as spontaneous generation in the creation of life much to the evolutionist’s dismay. There is also never Spontaneous Salvation (Calvinism) unless it’s like Jesus meeting Paul on the Road to Damascus. The lost person void of God’s Light around you is not going to see salvation unless you shine on them. In my darkest hours the testimonies of other Christians came into remembrance and I lived because I believed. Not belief in them but in the LORD of whom they testified. Later in my life I had and have my own remembrances to look back on when things are tough. Quit OCD-ing everything and just “Make Biscuits!” “And how are they to hear without someone preaching?”
