The Light
I have had a half dozen awesome ideas to write about and post on Facebook today: but I get distracted. I sat down with a definite point in mind a few minutes ago and now it is gone and forgotten. “HOW TERRIBLE A PERSON I AM! I am going to ruin everybody’s lives and cause the END OF THE WORLD!” Nah; Just having an off day where I don’t feel good and my concentration is a bit off. Numerous people through the ages thought they had the power to end life as we know it: We’re still here. There’s a reason for that: life is of God. People kill people by Satan’s twisted darkness and think they have defeated God because they think they destroyed life. God’s breath is eternal like He is eternal and they did not destroy God or the breath He breathed. That breath or essence of God left the body and returned to Him. Light is also the essence of God and wherever He is Light will be there. It cannot be destroyed because it is of God. Satan is the epitome of darkness because darkness is just the absence of Light: God left him to himself. God is the fullness of HOPE and Satan is the emptiness of despair. At the first of this Psalm David is writing about the wicked having no fear of God before their eyes. Proverbs says the fear of the LORD is the beginning of Wisdom. David understood if we actually see God for who He is and as He is we will fear Him. The wicked are blinded by the false image that pride in themselves deludes them to see. Unbelief is darkness and trust in God is LIGHT. If you understand the absolute truth that God’s books have to come up completely just you won’t do evil. All sin works like addictions and blinds those that live in it from seeing right things of the Light. If you have accepted Christ as Savior Jesus has put His righteousness into your account and makes the eternal even. In the physical realm God adjusts our balances here as we live this life. The Wonderful – Terrible Truth
