The Light
I recommend you read all of John chapter 8 today even though His Word has overwhelmed my small mind again. The first 11 verses was Jesus dealing with the Pharisees accusing the woman caught in the act of Adultery. By their own testimony as the men put down their rocks and walked away displayed their own condemnation. Jesus was the only man ever born that wasn’t condemned already. Jesus was the only one qualified to truly judge the woman that day. Jesus didn’t come to condemn but to redeem: Jesus would later die for her sin in her stead. Jesus wasn’t born to condemn us either but to seek and save those who were lost. What is so overwhelming is this preamble sets the tone for the rest of the chapter. Why Jesus was Here
