The Light
The WORD became Flesh
The New Way or Finally Seeing the ONLY WAY?
I think we already know the answer to that question. God told the way to Adam after He breathed Life Light and Love into him when God Created him. God gave Adam a purpose and only 1 restriction - “Don’t eat the fruit of that tree!” Before that rule was broken Jesus was already in place to redeem those that chose to believe. “The Word” and “The Light” are synonymous because they are both the same Person – JESUS! Other Synonyms are “The LIFE” (mentioned here) “The WAY” and “THE TRUTH”. As mentioned in verse 1 “In the Beginning was the Word” Jesus will also be the conclusion of all things. - “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and Last.” Revelation 22:13 God gave John the Baptist the Job of preparing his present world to receive the LIGHT that was coming. Just as he you are not that LIGHT nor was John the Beloved Revelator: we bear witness. Through His Word and His Holy Spirit Jesus has shined His Light into our souls and overcome our darkness. If we truly know Him we can’t read this passage of Scripture without plainly seeing Jesus. You cannot be the same person you were before you met Jesus because He makes all things new. Read John Chapter 1 and decide if in the Light of what you have been given if you should shine?
