The Light
44 'And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. ' John 12:44-46 https://my.bible.com/bible/59/JHN.12.44-46 I am writing this on Thanksgiving Morning before I go to spend the day with Family: Happy Belated Thanksgiving. Hopefully the Turkey will be all gone by the time this posts but with the restrictions this Virus who knows. There will only be 4 of us today but we will give thanks to God for having that. So why am I writing about Thanksgiving a week after? God has taught me to not answer questions before their time and though I am thankful every day: last Thursday wasn’t Thanksgiving. I couldn’t live in the Light of a day I wasn’t promised. So the Thanksgiving meal will be in the septic tank when this posts but I will still be thankful. How can I know that? Because I am not the Light that radiates from me: Jesus is! I don’t believe in myself: I believe in Him. If Jesus was to hide Himself from me I would either seek Him until I found Him or die trying. But He has promised to NEVER LEAVE NOR FORSAKE ME. After the Turkey and stuffing are a memory are you still thankful? If you are “Walking in the Light” you will be no matter how dark the world gets. The Darkness of the world is directly relative to How much Jesus is carried into it by believers. It may be the darkest day ever known December 3rd 2020 but Faith says where I am He is. And if I am walking in His Light I will be sharing His LIGHT because I am not powerful enough to contain. So the Christmas Lights are up and Brother Shawn has forced us to sing Happy Christmas Songs. Are you shining yet? What day it is isn’t supposed to determine that just like I was already thankful a week before Thanksgiving. “While you have The Light walk in the Light.”
