7 So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.  John 10:7-9  (ESV) Our way into God’s fold is Jesus! In the next verse in John Jesus says – The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.  John 10:10-11  (ESV) The Sheep fold was made with only one way in and the Shepherd would lie down at that door and be the only access to the fold and He did die for us His sheep. There is a Spiritual place of safety where Satan can’t access to harm us that Jesus has purchased with His own blood: Satan can’t go through Jesus to get to us in that manner – that is the door He has shut and no one shall open. Brother Robbie preached a few weeks ago about the doors of opportunity that Jesus has opened for us and how we allow Satan to shut those doors by our silence and fear: doors that Jesus has opened shall not be shut. Meet the demon standing in that doorway with the Sword of the Spirit which is God’s Word…Who is also Jesus. 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.  John 1:1-5  (ESV) Jesus puts a new… old… meaning to the term “Door Busters!” Go tell folks about LIGHT SUNDAY where Jesus busted destruction and darkness’ power and set before us an open door. Satan’s dungeon doors are broken like the gates of the city that Samson picked up and took with him: the only people that stay there are those that believe they can’t come out.
