STANDING GOD'S GROUND
Conclusion 'Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. ' Romans 12:2 ESV I have wrote this last segment of this series in my head a dozen times but now it’s here. Over the last 9 months God has led me to write of many things I didn’t want to even remember. I endured things I would have chose death over enduring: but even knowing in advance I chose to obey God. I have written many words that were painful to speak and kept complete silence words I wanted to say. Over this past weekend I was weary and wavering and God repeatedly reminded me to hold the course He set. What I have written chronicles a 40 year path and shows what I was and the transformation God made. Through rebellion and surrender mistakes and victories God has been the constant in my life that doesn’t shake. So, as Jesus last Words on the cross were “It Is Finished”, so is this devotional series. God has instructed me to put off my mourning clothes and step out into the light and enjoy this day. The LIGHT For the next 4 months God has led me to proclaim “The Light” in this dark year where uncertainty abounds. All the verses that show the “Making Light” of things have been excluded. We will look at the verses that speak of vision giving LIGHT – understanding – and enlightenment. To make clear and God-Guided steps we need to see and understand what God’s plan is for us to do. Praise God I might not live through this: but every Day God has instructed me to dwell with Him. I doubt bad stuff will quit happening and the worst could be yet to come but walk in the Light? There are lots of things we need to say but The HOLY SPIRIT will give those Words when needed. There are things for which God wants us to give our words pause so He can speak. People who are always talking make their words unheard by the tediousness of their company: don’t waste words. Truth is always truth so nothing has changed in our duty: but let God transform you to meet the task? You are still standing on Holy Ground so don’t neglect to stand. Evil should be opposed so don’t surrender a millimeter: armor up and be a warrior. Stand in the Gap and make up the hedge and tell Satan “God Said You Shall Not Pass!” Don’t be a spreader of darkness when God has called you to be the light that reflects Him.
